51 and I’m retired. I’m also a wife, mother of a teenager,
daughter of elderly parents, a sister, an aunt, a friend and an entrepreneur.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Arts, Simon Fraser
University, 1981
- Foundation Program in Management for Women,
SFU, 1995
- Certified Professional Coach, Erickson College,
2006
- Certified Retirement Coach, RSP and Life Options Trained,
Retirement Options, 2008
Most of my career was in customer service and community and aboriginal
relations and focused around building relationships with clients
and customers.
I took early retirement from my employer of 25+ years
in 2008 not because I wanted to stop working but because I
wanted to do something different, something with more personal meaning.
I also wanted more flexibility and freedom.
About the Leprechaun
Growing up my Irish grandmother was a strong
influence and a good example of aging well. Her stories of
the leprechaun and his treasure and his mischievous nature were captivating.
I named my business Eye on the Leprechaun Coaching Ltd. because it
reminds me that focus and fun are important in achieving my own goals.
Keeping your eye on the leprechaun at Best Plan Retirement
Based
on my observations, education, and now my own experience, I
believe that how well we plan and prepare for our retirement life
will directly affect how well we age and how happy we are in our
later years.
In addition to the resources available here, I believe
I have some insights that can help others prepare and plan
for the transitions that retirement brings and anticipate the changes
with confidence.

According to the stories of an Irish grandmother, if
you catch a leprechaun he will lead you to his treasure.
If you take your
eye off of him however, he will vanish and so will the treasure. |
